Introduction


With a combined experience within the Information Governance and data protection sector of over 60 years, our specialists have been at the forefront of changes, working across the public and private elements of the Health and Social Care service areas.


Both as an individual organisation and as part of an agreed support network, we work closely together with individual clients to find appropriate and sustainable solutions that not only meet the ever-changing regulatory requirements, but also save time and money for clients where possible.


KWJCL provides its services to a wide variety of health and social care organisations that need to meet the various Data Security and Protection standards (previously tilted Information Governance), including NHS Organisations (e.g. Acute Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups), as well as other private companies delivering care or indirect support within the Health and Care sector. 


We also provide these services to specialised private sector organisations.

And with the additional support provided, our contractors can deliver a wider and more supportive level of service support.


We are not a consultancy and we provide a service for the same price as an individual contractor to maximize the outcome for the end client. 


Duties

During the appointment, the service agrees:

·        to devote such of their time, attention and skill to the business of the Client as shall, in the opinion of the Client, be           necessary for the proper and timely performance of the Services; to be on site as determined.;

·        to carry out the Services in an expert and diligent manner and to provide services to the best of their commercial,           technical and creative skill;

·        to the best of their ability, promptly and faithfully to comply with and observe all lawful, reasonable and proper               requests that may from time to time be given to them by the Client;

·        during their appointment, not to undertake any additional activities or accept any other engagements that lead or           might lead to any conflict of interest between Blue Pelican consultants and the best interests of the Client; and

·        to keep the Client informed of progress on the Services and in particular to liaise with the named representative               in respect of the day-to-day performance of the Services.


While the service methods of working is entirely their own and they are not subject to the control of the Client, they shall nevertheless comply with any reasonable requests of the Client.
